Here are some pictures with typical problems and some not so typical. In most cases, these issue were identified at first glance while others required more investigation.

Clogged downspout
You see the icicles forming on this downspout. This is an issue as is not taken away from the house and remains near the home and potentially driven into the basement. |

Exhaust too straight
To ensure gases are properly exhausted, an incline of 1/4 inch per foot is a good rule of thumb that we look for. This is a life safety concern we consistently look for. |

Missing ground wire
No ground at this, and other outlets. Although, the house was grounded at the service panel, none of the outlets were grounded. |

These ducts were located under a 2 piece bathroom. This leak was caused by a floor register near a leaky toilet. |
